Could Invisalign Help Me?

Find out if this nearly invisible way to straighten smiles could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

You want to fix that gap between your front teeth and other little alignment issues in your smile but you certainly don’t relish the idea of invisalignwearing a bunch of metal braces in order to do it. Our Spring, TX family dentist Dr. Michael Morris certainly understands, which is why we are offering both teens and adults the opportunity to get a straighter smile with a nearly invisible orthodontic system known as Invisalign.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign offers a revolutionary way to fix common misalignment issues like gaps between teeth and crowding through the use of clear, flexible plastic aligners that are custom-made to fit over your teeth and gradually shift certain teeth around in order to improve their alignment.

Can people actually see the aligners?

Unless you actually tell people, most people won’t even notice that you have your clear aligners in. Once you get used to wearing them you’ll find that the only person that will know you have Invisalign is you. It’s important to note that sometimes Invisalign comes with tooth-colored attachments to help with your treatment. Sometimes these attachments, though meant to blend in with the rest of your orthodontic system, may be slightly noticeable; however, these small attachments don’t typically bother patients.

How long will you wear Invisalign?

The length of your treatment will depend on the severity of the issue or issues you are looking to treat. Many adults, on average, will wear their aligners for about one year. Of course, it could be longer or shorter depending on your own needs and goals. We will be able to address the length of your treatment once we start designing your treatment plan.

Each day, you will want to wear your aligners for about 20-22 hours. The more often you wear them the better. Naturally, you can remove them to eat, drink, brush or floss.

How often will I need to come in for orthodontic checkups during my treatment?

You will visit your dentist in Spring, TX about every six weeks to check the progress of your treatment and to make any necessary changes to make your treatment more efficient.

Do you think Invisalign is the right option for you and your smile? If so, then let’s see what we can do for you. Call our Spring, TX dental office today to schedule your no-risk consultation and get one step closer to the smile you’ve always wanted.
